হরিহর অভেদ:
১) Vishnu Purana 5.33.47–48: (Krishna says to shiva)That which
I am, thou art men contemplate distinctions, because they are stupefied by
ignorance.
২) Narada Purana 1.3.59: A person who looks upon the Lord of
Gods Narayana and Shiva equally without any discrimination is always saluted by
god Brahma.
৩) Agni Purana 12.51:Viṣṇu said to Śiva, “ There is no
difference between us and one who (thinks of) any difference goes to hell.
৪) Brahma Purana 53.65: He who is Rudra is himself Viṣṇu. He
who is Viṣṇu is himself Rudra. There is no difference between the two as in
regard to the Wind and Ether.
৫) Skanda Purana: यथा
शिवस्तथा विष्णुर्यथा विष्णुस्तथा शिव: । अन्तरं
शिवविष्ण्वोश्र भनागपि न विद्यते ।।
As is Shiva so is Vishnu, as is Vishnu so is Shiva. There is
not even a slight difference between them.
৬) Varaha Purana 70.40: Those who consider me (Shiva) as
different from Vishnu, are driven to do sinful deeds and reach hell.
Varaha Purana 72.14: I (Shiva) am Vishnu as well as Brahma
the three gods are really one and the wise should not differentiate between
them.
৭) Kurma Purana: भवन्ति
सर्वदोषाया निन्दकस्य क्रिया हि ता: ।
यस्तु चैष महायोगी रक्षको
विष्णुरव्ययः ॥ ८७॥
All the activities of a person who denounces Śiva, result in
earning of blemishes. The eternal Mahayogi Vişņu, who provides protection to
all, is equal to the glorious god Rudra himself. There is no doubt about it.
Such of the people who treat Vişņu, the source, the origin
of the universe, as separate from Lord Siva, it is all due to delusion alone.
Such of the people being ignorant to the Vedas, ultimately fall in hell. The
people who follow the Vedas, they do not differentiate between Śiva and Vişnu
and achieve mokşa. Lord Vişņu is himself Rudra, while Rudra is Janārdana
himself.

Believing them both to be one, those who adore them they
achieve the highest position.
৮) Padma Purana: Padma Purana 2.71.19–21: śaivaṃ ca vaiṣṇavaṃ
rūpamekarūpaṃ narottama dvayośca aṃtaraṃ nāsti ekarūpamahātmanoḥ | śivāya viṣṇurūpāya
śivarūpāya viṣṇave śivasya hṛdayaṃ viṣṇurviṣṇośca hṛdayaṃ śivaḥ |
O king, the form of Śiva and that of Viṣṇu are identical.
There is no difference between the glorious two, who are of the same form.
Salute Śiva of the form of Viṣṇu, and Viṣṇu of the form of Śiva. Viṣṇu is the
heart of Śiva, and Śiva is the heart of Viṣṇu.
৯) HariVamsha Purana 2.127.29: Markendeya said: Shiva is
identical with Vishnu and Vishnu is identical with Shiva. I do not see any
difference. They are both auspicious, without beginning, middle or end, eternal
and undecaying.
HariVamsha Purana 2.127.40-42: Hari and Hara are the
Creator, Preserver and Destroyer of the universe. I will now chant their
glories. Vishnu is adorable unto Rudra, and Rudra is adorable unto Vishnu. They
are one, still they range in the world under two forms. Vishnu is not different
from Shankara and Shankara is not different from Vishnu. Therefore formerly
Rudra and Upendra became one. Salutation unto Rudra and Krishna of one united
body.
Lord Viṣṇu replied: Brahmā, Lord Śiva and I are the supreme
cause of the material manifestation. the Supersoul, the self-sufficient
witness. There is no difference between Brahmā, Lord Śiva and Me.
